It's clear as day... this is why the delta and lambda variants are being hyped so much, its why Team Biden is so aggressive pushing the vaccine and wanting to even go door to door. That way they can say "Well we did all we could but these idiot Trump supporting rednecks refuse to get vaccinated! Therefore we have no choice but to lock down again because of them", and all the political blame is directed toward those on the right, and sets the table for 2022 hoping the angry voters take it out on those "damn Trump supporters!". Also explains the January 6 commission and constant hyping up of January 6, the goal is to turn public opinion heavily against those on the right by blaming the right for everything.
It also doubles as achieving the progressive priority item of preventing people from congregating and sharing ideas. This is why they targeted bars, churches, restaurants and gatherings during the lockdowns, so the people could not communicate and could therefore only receive information from the state sponsored, filtered mainstream media and big tech outlets.

My sister was a nurse in NYC during their wave in Spring 2020 and hated all of the self absorbed hero complexes her other nurses had. My sister said it was bad for a while but no where near as bad as the media/nurses said it was and were milking it for all it was worth.

No school, no fans at sporting events college or pro, and restaurants and bars shut down. They will do this to ensure only mail in voting for 2022. The Dems will have expanded House and Senate majorities and Republicans will be permanently reduced to a useless minority.

i get a kick out of people over the last six weeks or so saying "the world is starting to open back up" like some sort of monumental objective has been reached and not just general public perception

I had a pulmonologist friend who said much the same thing in New Jersey. He was giving patients shots of steroids that he said was damned effective in terms of avoiding respirators but also getting them off as well. Until Phil Murphy and the health department banned it. He said that all patients that took the roids survived.

The main reason they have to do this is because they need a reason to approve more stimulus and inflate the dollar.
Because Repubs haven’t budged in negotiations and the banks aren’t lending the amount of dollars needed to inflate, they haven’t been able to pass the crazy high amounts needed to inflate away the government debt (so the gov can stay afloat), institute socialism by forcing workers to rely on UBI longterm, and ultimately institute a Federal Cryptocurrency to bypass bank lending and track our transactions.
They also aren’t inflating enough to keep the Equities and Asset markets afloat for much longer.
They will have to give up on this part of the plan when they decide to lockdown again which will crash markets.
QE isn’t enough.
Eroding gov debt and instituting socialism are highest priorities.
