Another iconic violent image to join all the others. Sad. Pathetic.

Funny how the emotions change on this forum. I recall seeing several threads here in the past of cars moving through lines of protestors and most in this forum eating it up and praising it. I'll go look for that thread.

Depends on intent.

Sorry, but Lebron is a great player by almost any measure.

Free Speech is not a stupid game. Just saying.

I've seen people say stupid and hyperbolic stuff about hitting protesters, but I think every single reasonable poster on this board would tell you it's an apple-to-oranges comparison.
Those threads were about people trying to navigate through protesters intentionally blocking interstates, which is indeed reckless and dangerous on the protesters' part. Aside from the obvious dangers to their own personal safety, what if someone was trying to rush someone to the hospital or was in some other kind of emergency?
This situation is nothing like that. This was obviously a case of someone ramming their car for no other intent than to harm.

Watching some people here trying so hard to win "points against the board" gets more and more perplexing.

Where is the video of this event where it shows that the driver is a male and wasn't being attached first ? Everyone acts like this is some crazy people who went out and ran over a bunch of protesters that were blocking the street for no reason.

That license plate number must be chilling for numerologists. Is the second civil war near?

Yeah I figured he wouldn't get far.
If he truly feared for his life, I hope he's acquitted.

He clearly is driving down the alley/street with nobody in his way.
It wouldn't surprise me if he was distracted driving (drunk, drugs, snapschat, etc) and came upon the group of people and stopped vehicles before he could brake. That would explain his fast getaway.
If someone was intentionally driving into a crowd you would think they had already accepted their fate and not flee.
I am not a psycho though so what do I know.

Eh, I'm sure they'd at least try. Kind of like the people who lead the cops on hour-long high-speed chases with like 4 helicopters following their every move. Do they really think they're going to get away?
