It's all bullshite. Putin wants to say he tried everything he could to bring peace, but Ukraine rejected it. All while he is resupplying his lines and sending in the next wave.

Patently false. You can still fly in and out of Russia, you just can’t do so on Russia owned Airlines. They are not blockaded in any way and can still ship in and out of their ports. And no foreign investment is being stopped, you just have to watch what intermediary you use. MOEX, the Russian stock exchange is currently up 20+%.

How do you think this is going to happen? The Russians control the ports, the airports, and Rails. They control the Airspace in the Ukraine so convoys are DOA. And that’s before you realize their arms and munitions are not compatible with NATO(no spare parts, different manual of arms, different ammo) and their larger systems see the same problem. We can send F35 fighters but they are not compatible with Cold War era equipment they have. If they put MiG grade fuel in a modern fighter it wouldn’t get off the ground if you could find a pilot familiar enough to fly it.

If you want to effectively arm them you need to send in support and advisors to train them. From how to maintain, use, and enough spare parts to do it. Send modern fighter? Better send pilots, ground crew, fuel, weapons and ammo, technical support, linguist, hire guides and an army of contractors to support the operation. So figure a year before you can pull your folks out and expect the Ukrainians be able to start training their own people.

Do you feel the Ukraine has a year to start getting ready to fight this war? Or are you willing to commit thousands of already trained US military personnel to fight them now?

Putin is doing a better job of solidifying NATO than Trump did. Germans bumped up their military spending to over 2%. Scandinavia may be part of NATO soon.
