I’m sorry, if SD, zip code or Timmy didn’t report it, it’s not official Russian news.

I'm waiting for the "We lit our own flagship on fire, blew it up, then sank it while towing it to safety. It was all part of our plan." posts.

You need to keep up, I already quashed that rumor.
If it didn’t come from one of your three amigos, it’s not legit.

Russia has some real military frickups on its historical resume — Third Coalition (Austerlitz), Russo-Japanese War, 1st World War, winter war, Afghanistan — but goddamn this 2022 Russo-Ukrainian War is giving those a run for their money. Not necessarily in terms of pure manpower losses, but in terms of world prestige… Russias time as a ‘Great Power’ may be over…. It’s been cooking for a while, but this clusterfrick might’ve pushed it over the edge.

Four of those I listed would be considered losses… where unfavorable peace terms were dictated by the other side… the only one that wasn’t is the winter war, and that was a complete disaster.

So 4 losses makes you terrible? Four military losses isn’t bad at all compared to other countries. Where is this undefeated country at? Isn’t Germany 0-2 in warfare, yet their military history gets constantly jerked off by y’all. History didn’t start in 1940. This try hard copium from y’all is insane!

Thats exactly what Mussolini told Hitler. That’s exactly what McClellan told Lincoln. That’s exactly what Cornwallis told King George.

Germany was unified (under the Prussian monarchy) in 1871 after defeating France in the Franco-Prussian war… there were 3 wars of German unification, all won by German coalitions with Prussia at its core. The Prussian military tradition goes back centuries, as does the Russian.

Yes, Prussia helped create the Germany we know today, but Prussia is not the same thing as todays Germany. Also, Russia bailed out Prussia from being eradicated from the map during the seven years war, so let’s not even bring that up. Prussia can also make a pornhub spanking compilation of how many times Napoleon whooped it’s arse.

Russia didn’t become the huge empire we saw in the 40s, 50s and 60s by losing wars.
