The three Baltic states—Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia—have suspended all purchases of Russian gas, government officials said. For now, the needs of the three tiny nations will be satisfied from storage in Latvia, UAWire reported this weekend.

"If there were still any doubts about whether there may be any trust in deliveries from Russia, current events clearly show us that there is no more trust," said the head of Latvia's gas storage operator, Uldis Bariss, as quoted by local media.

On Sunday, Latvia's gas company, Latvijas G?ze, said that it had closed an eight-year supply contract with Gazprom, "which provides for settlements for natural gas in euros."

Needs to be confirmed by reliable sources. I don’t see any blue or yellow tape on their unis.

Mortar life can get boring bro. Looks pretty normal to me.

There's multiple images coming out of dead bodies in civilian clothing bound by white bands, either in the street or in a basement, hunched over. You can see the dried pools blood that drained from their head. They were clearly executed. There's hundreds of bodies in mass graves. This event is now being labeled the Bucha Massacre. Ukraine claims the 64th motorized Rifle Brigade was holding the town, and is responsible for these crimes. They must have recovered passports and patches from the fallen Russian troops that were occupying the town before they pulled out on March 31st.

Something about attacking the messenger when you can’t dispute the message…. And I despise the New York Times

The weird part is Russia has requested a UN Security Council meeting on Monday in connection with what they call "the outrageous provocation of Ukrainian radicals in Bucha", while the UK presiding over the UN security council has rejected the request. Don't reject the meeting, launch an investigation and lets find out what happened instead of relying on the NYT.

Will be surprised if this is limited to just Bucha… this is what happens when one of your justifications for war is “de-nazification”… you dehumanize your enemy.

I'm no CSI expert but call me skeptical that there is not more decay if they were left out for weeks.

That's for sure. But it doesn't take a CSI expert to know that bodies decay at different rates depending on the temperature. Refrigerators are usually set to about 40 degrees Fahrenheit. The mean daily temperature in Kyiv during March is 36 degrees F. Bodies that are outside will decay very slowly.

If it were summer then those bodies would have already severely decayed.

Oh yeah I forgot about the swarms of birds that fly around eating corpses in freezing weather.

With so many corpses around the suburbs of Kyiv, is it surprising that a lot of corpses were relatively undisturbed? How many stray dogs do you think there are? They’re each going to eat one corpse a day?

Let me guess, you’re also surprised that there aren’t maggots and flies when it’s well below zero every night

edit: I wrote "below zero" here and meant "below freezing", thank you to the person who pointed out my mistake

Not to mention that animals aren’t fans of live ammunition.

It hasn't been below zero in a while. IN fact, its been in the 50's-60's numerous times the last few weeks.

The bodies have been rotting, numerous people have said the smell is overwhelming.

I can find you 20 pics worse than that if you want to continue the investigation.

I dont care to investigate. I was just commenting on people saying it was "too cold" to decompose.

The cold certainly does slow the process, but its been warmer than people think and once you die, like an animal, everything in your gut can no longer get processed and unless the corpse/carcass are frozen, its starts decomposing and bloating. Especially if anyone had gut wounds.
