Yeah, bullshite. I've literally never mentioned the Ghost of Kyiv, feel free to look through my posts. I've grown up around fighter pilots my entire life and knew what that story was the second I heard it.
You on the other hand, have had a hard time letting him go..

For example, I see this Russia hasn’t captured Kiev in two weeks as a failure which really doesn’t mean shvt because there’s countless war examples proving this narrative completely false.
Russia has actually lost ground around Kyiv, they will never take it. That's a failure.

If you honestly think Ukraine is winning this war right now then I’m not wasting my breath on someone so delusional lol.
The standards for the invader and the one being invaded are completely different.
-The Ukrainian government is stronger than before the war started
-Outside of Mariupol, Russia is stalled in their pursuit of all major cities
-Russia has taken significant casualties, including their VDV units
-Russia has used up most of its precision missile inventory
-Ukraine has taken ground back around Kharkiv, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, & Sumy
-The supply line of Western weapons is still wide open, despite Russia saying they would take it out weeks ago
-The Russian economy is in an absolute free fall
-Ukraine is more aligned with the West than they've ever been
-Even Russian speaking cities that were indifferent towards Russia taking over now despise them
So please, enlighten me...how exactly is Russia winning this war?

First time poking my head into the thread since the first week.
This invasion was just another reminder of how much power over the people our media has.
Ukraine was never going to stop Russia. Trying to find small victories in delays of capturing cities and slow advancements is moving goal post. It is war. I’m sure every war prior to this one went 100% as planned.
Without intervention Russia will do as it pleases with Ukraine. I would like to say that no country wants a part of this. But I think there is one country that certainly is scared of what Russia could find in Ukraine. That’s what I’m concerned about.

Most of that list is western projection and narratives

This was from two days ago, Russia wasn't going for those cities? Talk about moving goalposts

Yeah, that search function is tough. It took me a lot less time than it took you to put SDV tattoos on a picture of Sofia Vergara, fricking loser.

Uh...that's quite literally the objective of the defender in a battle/war. When you delay and slow your opponent, that's a good thing in armed conflict. Especially if you inflict massive casualties on them while you're doing it. Ukraine knows it can't win outright so they are trying to make it so costly for the Russians that they'll be more open to a negotiated peace.

The Russians don’t want to destroy cities. They are trying to avoid civilian loss. They could level every city if they want to, but they won’t. The only reason anything is stalled is because the Ukrainian soldiers are hiding in cities behind civilians. This isn’t that hard.
EVERY WORD THE DAMN TRUTH! I’ve had numerous friends and colleagues in several Ukrainian cities that have said exactly the same. None of these people in this board are connected to either country involved like I am. I’ve got friends, close friends and family in both countries right now.
Without any question, your words are absolute fact.

quote:how?** Reread my response above. Stop believing the same damn western medias that we all know have been grotesquely lying like hell for the past 16 years.
-The Ukrainian government is stronger than before the war started **- that’s a complete lie. Zelensky has been exposed for what he is, and incompetent western puppet and horribly corrupt.
-Outside of Mariupol, Russia is stalled in their pursuit of all major cities - **lol, complete bullshite. Russia will soon have essentially complete control of the Eastern border regions and southeastern areas including Luhansk, Donetsk, Mariupol, Melitopol, Kherson and Crimea is secure all all sides. Kharkiv and Sumy are almost encircled and will be occupied soon.
-Russia has taken significant casualties, including their VDV units ** Yes, they’ve taken casualties, it’s war but not anywhere near as many as reported in the fake news western medias.
-Russia has used up most of its precision missile inventory - **do you really believe that ignorant shite ? Seriously, how damn stupid are you ?
-Ukraine has taken ground back around Kharkiv, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, & Sumy -** total b.s. Kiev is certainly a sensitive issue and will be surgically done if needed. Sumy and Kharkiv are steadily being surrounded and controlled. I’ve got friends in Kharkiv at this exact moment.
-The supply line of Western weapons is still wide open, despite Russia saying they would take it out weeks ago -** you must be desperate to even go there.
-The Russian economy is in an absolute free fall - **lmao, the ruble has recovered back 50% of the pre-sanction rate. It was 70-72 to 1, now it’s 100-102 to 1, it jumped to 130-135 to 1. Btw we changed 14,000$ at the high point and another 16,000$ at 131-1. Appreciate that Libtards. India and China along with Africa have just opened up their resources and trade goods with great joy along with other Asian countries.
-Ukraine is more aligned with the West than they've ever been - **you say that likes it’s a good thing. And it’s actually comical because you don’t want to admit the west has been financially backing and interfering with Ukraine elections or backing the overthrow or financially supporting the extremist and nazi battalion of Azov etc. Btw Ukraine despises gay marriage and homosexuality in general, as well they should...not in line there either.
-Even Russian speaking cities that were indifferent towards Russia taking over now despise them **- damn just shut the fuk up with that complete sick shite. That’s a 100% lie straight from hell.
So please, enlighten me...how exactly is Russia winning this war?

Considering you both get your info from the Kremlin, this isn't surprising. Which cities in Ukraine do your family members live in?

Ukrainian Presidential adviser Arestovych commented on the video showing Ukrainians shoot Russian POWs, stating that he harshly condemns such behavior, that Ukraine "doesn't abuse prisoners because it's a European country" & the events on the video "look like a war crime".

I seriously doubt the vast majority of Ukrainian soldiers, especially the reserves and civilians that have been mobilized since the invasion, have any training whatsoever on the Geneva Convention

Regardless, they should know common decency…. Plus it’s counterproductive. The worse you treat your POWs the fewer you get…. And the violence tends to escalate on each side.
Everyone can understand the frustration, but no good comes from it.

I just posted this on the OT in regards to the same subject.
quote:
Eh I ain’t that mad about it. Combat is one of the most primal things a human can undergo. I’d like to think I’d be better and more civilized than those guys were if I were put in the same situation but who knows. Think of it like fricking, it’s just as primal as combat. We’d all like to think we’ll be smart about it and put on a condom or at least pull out. But sometimes you find yourself choking a chick while rawdogging the frick out of it and bust a nut all up in her before you even know what’s happening. That’s basically what war crimes are like
