SKAI news spoke with Mr Kiouranas who lives in the city and described the Ukrainian “fascists.”
When asked by SKAI news if he planned to leave the city, Kiouranas responded “how can I leave? When you try to leave you run the risk of running into a patrol of the Ukrainian fascists, the Azov Battalion.”
“They would kill me and are responsible for everything,” he added.

The Mariupol-based Azov Battalion, a neo-Nazi unit of the Ukrainian Republican Guard, which falls under the command of the Interior Ministry, was based in Mariupol and discriminated, persecuted and tortured non-Ukrainian speakers, including Greeks.
Only days before Russian troops started crossing into Ukraine, the Azov Battalion killed an ethnic Greek and shot another two only for speaking Russian.

Ukraine's ground is quite muddy at the moment. IMHO, once it dries out, which will be nearer to or during Summer, Russia will try to get the offensive moving again.
IMHO, Russia is trying to build-up troop readiness, force augmentation and logistical stockpiles and trains in preparation for a planned Summer Offensive. Once the ground dries up in Ukraine, off-road military vehicle travel will be much better than right now.
PS I'm not sure that "inside" that small house is the best place to be for that infantry squad. Might be better to spread out on the ground outside the house, placing the house between you and the enemy tank.

I thought most of what people are describing as slow process is because the Ukrainian army has largely embedded themselves with civilians. Russia isn’t trying to kill innocent people so it’s making it difficult. They have to surgically go in and take the soldiers out

Poland wants some Ukrainian territory. They'll take some in the north, Hungary will take a bite in the west, and Romania will take some in the south.
