NFL owners and commissioner colluded to keep kaepernick off a team

ETA: on a serious note would this be some huge scandal? That business owners decided a certain employees actions was not good for business?

I mean I don't care if he plays, or even pay attention to who kneels, but obviously some people do. Why should they not be allowed to protect their product? If he was good enough to start he'd be playing, but on the bench that's a huge distraction in an extremely competitive league with a lot of other people's jobs on the line.

Is this really that much different than when people get fired for controversial some of those controversial Facebook posts.

A ton of these guys donated to Trump took a stand against him.

Only bc they don't want to see their bottom line take a hit.

Who needs a link? They totally did. They wanted this to go away but didn't have the stones to publicly take a side so they tried to ride the fence.

but then trump trolled them into taking a side...the wrong one

The funny part of all of this commotion is that all of these people that have been shouting from the rooftops that Kaepernick doesn't have a job because he protested will be proven wrong.

Going forward any player that protested this weekend and is a good player will remain on an NFL team. Players that protested this weekend and is a borderline NFL player will probably not have much of an NFL career. Same goes for the guys that didn't protest this weekend. Amazing concept isn't it.

He caused them trouble and he's not good. You bet your arse they blackballed him

I don't know why people are resistant to what's so obvious. It's not because the NFL is secretly "murica, frick yeah" it's because theyre vindictive pricks and he caused them problems which are soon to begin hurting their bottom line

It just shows you what hypocrites they are. The only reason they responded so crazily to trump is because he repeated something they know but have kept out of media because of their influence over sports media outlets. So now they're on the side of #woke even though they blackballed kaepernick

The owners caved because of money. Correct. That's the bottom line. However it may backfire with some customers.

For the country club Republicans, it's always been the green over the red, white, and blue.
