The old guard dems are making the same mistake those in power in Germany in the late 12920's and the 1930's made with the National Socialist party of Herr Hiter. The Germans thought they could use Hitler and his party. The problem was that they became too strong.
The old guard has let the socialists and communist in the dem party become too strong. If Bern is screwed again there will be a divisive war. He has nothing to lose. I can imagine Bern threatening to run as a third party candidate.

If the Dems were smart they would make everyone but Biden bow out so he could walk in as the nominee. Bernie will win if the vote is split 6 ways.
