I'm afraid that the jury will have very little say so in the final outcome of this case.

quote:

The high-stakes trial between Elon Musk and OpenAI, led by CEO Sam Altman, began on April 27, 2026, in Oakland, California, with jury selection completed and opening statements expected soon.

Musk, a co-founder of OpenAI, is suing Altman, OpenAI president Greg Brockman, and Microsoft, alleging they betrayed the company’s original nonprofit mission by transitioning to a for-profit structure in 2019 and exploiting his $38 million in funding and name for commercial gain.

Musk seeks over $130 billion in damages—originally up to $150 billion—redirected to OpenAI’s charitable arm, along with the removal of Altman and Brockman from leadership. He claims OpenAI was founded as a "Manhattan Project for AI" to benefit humanity, but was covertly turned into a "wealth machine." OpenAI counters that Musk was involved in early discussions about the for-profit shift, wanted to be CEO, and is now acting out of jealousy and competitive motives to boost his own AI venture, xAI.

Key developments and context:

The trial could impact OpenAI’s planned IPO, valued at up to $1 trillion, and influence the broader AI industry’s direction.

Internal documents, including Brockman’s diary entries, reveal tensions, with one entry reading, “This is the only chance we have to get out from Elon.”

Witnesses expected to testify include Musk, Altman, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, and Shivon Zilis, a former OpenAI board member and mother of Musk’s children.

The jury will serve in an advisory role, with U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers making the final decision.

I'm pulling for Elon, big time, over bonesmoking Sam (Scam) Altman ... the guy is a demonic scam artist who, if left unfettered and unchallenged, will harken the end of humanity. He's literally the antithesis to Musk.

"Scam" is Elon's pet name for Sam Altman.

Oh, who is Shivon Zilis you ask?

Musk has 14 children ... God Bless him.

quote:

Elon Musk has continued to expand his family with Shivon Zilis, an executive at one of his companies, Neuralink.

The Tesla CEO and Zilis quietly welcomed twins, son Strider and daughter Azure, in 2021. Their third child, daughter Arcadia, was born in February 2024, and a year later, Zilis revealed that she and Musk had welcomed baby No. 4. He is also a father to 10 other children with different partners.

Zilis has previously indicated that Musk offered to be her sperm donor. She has also defended him against critics, including when he was criticized for calling California’s COVID-19 lockdown procedures “fascist" in May 2020.

“No one’s perfect but I've never met anyone who goes through more personal pain to fight for an inspiring future for humanity - and has done so tirelessly for decades,” Zilis wrote on X (formerly Twitter) at the time. “Everyone’s entitled to their opinion but mine is that there’s no one I respect and admire more.”

Continued ...

Who is the U.S. District judge who will have final say so over the case?

quote:

Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers is a United States District Judge for the Northern District of California, appointed by President Barack Obama in 2011.

This will be one to watch, folks. This will have big implications and sweeping reverberations on a lot of levels across this country ... not the least of which are Wall Street and National Security.

I know nothing about the case but I’m betting on Elon.

A bonafide pater familias.

More power to him. He can certainly afford it, and seems to be as active in all their lives as possible.

This is from October 2025. There's no way they'll let OpenAI fall. It would bring down the house of cards.

The bubble is real. A $1 trillion valuation on a company with that much cash burn is irrational.

I don't know what it will look like, but the AI craze will backfire in some way. If nothing else, the government might nationalize one of the companies when it goes belly up.

Men with babies born out of wedlock to multiple baby mamas are always admired here. Nothing diffe(R)ent about this at all.

He can afford it. It is not like the money-grubbing whores he is fricking don't know who he is.

he definitely matured when it has come to this. Good to see he has settled down with this new girl. Seems he may have found someone that understands him, instead of just wanting to impregnate willy nilly to populate the world in his own way.

As we all know, his first/older ones are fricked up thanks to the way he thought his approach then was best. Just caveman "impregnate and move along" style. Now he's seems to be going more Christian style of family, minus the official marriage part.

Wait ... so you're actually complaining about a white man having 14 children ... all of which he supports, lavishly, without any government aid whatsoever?

He's also a doting father to them all.

You do see the differences, do you not?

More wealthy white men should father, and support in every way, more white babies ... imho.
