It’s not going to be by tribunal. Trump will be impeached if he tries it, and rightfully so.

There's no telling what could happen between now and then. I mean, I get what you're saying, but it could be revealed tomorrow that John Brennan is working hand in glove with the Iranian government and organizing their missile strikes on US bases for all we know. (Just an off the cuff example of course)

I didn’t find this speech containing much new, and definitely not bombshell info
The release of documents is a non event. It’ll be a revelation to the public but not something new to our government or the intelligence committee overseeing elections.
So this amounts to a play on words. There is nothing new on the election interference overall. We have had influence or meddling for a long time. It’ll just be new info to the public. I assume Trump is already aware that this info was previously not known to the public but not new to the intelligence committee or even him since they provide intelligence briefs to him.
Otherwise, the speech didn’t do much to give info on items that is of much benefit to the voters.

It’s not new info. It’s been known by the intelligence community and committee and even trump.
So the info isn’t new. It just wasn’t known to the public.
And for some in the public, it just confirms what’s been suspected for decades.

What he is saying is correct. In order for people to be tried by military tribunal, they'll have to show that they are an enemy combatant. An internal coup attempt won't do it. It has to be that they aligned with a belligerent nation. An enemy.
That doesn't mean it can't happen though. Brennan, for instance, is a card carrying communist with deep ties to Iran. Who is a declared enemy of our country. I'm not saying he is participating with Iran and actively waging war against the US, because I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me. And who knows about the other folks. Who knows what money they took, what actions they have taken against the US. Sure, we know of their treason, but again, it has to be something that clearly aligns them with a foreign adversary in a declared conflict and they have to conduct themselves in violation of the law of war in allegiance with said declared enemy.
In other words, if there are to be military tribunals, it probably won't be for a bunch of them.
