Have you been to a college campus protest or to the Northeast/California recently?

I wouldn't say I feel discriminated against, but definitely get the vibe I'm supposed to feel guilty about something (which I don't). It's the nature of being the most successful, powerful group. They hate us because they're not us so to speak. There is a healthy amount of envy directed our way, and that makes me greatful to be in that position. Regardless, I'll never take on some victim mindset. I'm mentally strong enough to not need outside reassurance and blame projection. That's the thought process of a failure.

It's tough being a white guy from an upper middle class family in this country these days. We definitely are handicapped right out of the gate. And I'm tired of it.

Bull. fricking. shite.

No such thing. It's a political fantasy

I have no doubt you genuinely believe that to be true.

I can. Just by being alive, about 40% of the country hates you and wants you to die.

When you are accustomed to privilege, equality looks like oppression.

You live in a state that is a living, breathing refutation of white privilege. Portland's upper class consists of asians, middle easterners, and sub-continental indians.

I have an adult sense of humor. The OP wants to round up the homeless and ship them off to Guam. I guess we all have our faults.

You left out "unconnected"

Spent 15 months stationed on Guam. There are worse places to be.
Nice deflection on that "adult sense of humor" retort.

I think he actually stated a US territory so PR was in play too. I guess we can ignore the moral implications of uprooting people involuntarily, though and get back to my

What deflection? I owned it. Sorry if it offends and makes me less of a Christian in your eyes.
