The Mifsud passport story that broke today strikes me as very odd, but I could be wrong

So, he left his wallet and passport in a Portuguese airport and it sat in lost and found for 17 months, unclaimed.
Wouldn’t you quickly realize after leaving the airport that you do not have your wallet? And wouldn’t the first place you would call be the airport, if you were looking for it?
I guess the likely explanation is that it fell out into a random crevice or corner and wasn’t noticed and brought to lost and found for a while. Maybe he did call the airport and they hadn’t had it in lost/found yet
The buzzfeed article has an odd paragraph as well:
Why even ponder the idea that he intentionally left his wallet and passport? Unless they know something more?

Unless he is fricking Jason Bourne and has a suitcase full of them, he would kind of notice those being missing.

Misinformation.....who know's what's really going on or where he is.
I'm sure if he is really missing there are people that are tracking him down.

Pretty sure...not positive. I haven't completely broken the "code" surrounding In-N-Out Burger.

They do have stores in surprising places. I saw one in a small town in Illinois the other day.
I don't think Selma has one though.
