Yeah, I don’t disagree with that, but the blanket assertion that you’re doing the victims a favor by bulling them is absolute insanity.
We had a disabled girl in my highschool that got endlessly harassed. Why? She was disabled. What could she do about it? Nothing. Just “ha ha you’re in a wheelchair and look/talk funny.” Any parent who learned their child was the target of that would be justifiably enraged. And any parent who teaches their children that kind of behavior is warranted is a terrible parent, and is likely teaching their own child to be one as well eventually.

Anybody doing that in my high school would have gotten their arse kicked. Maybe less because the boys really cared about the handicapped girl and more that it would have been a prime moment for playing the hero in front of the other girls.

The smart jocks in HS made friends with the nerds. The idiots picked on them. Plus you have no idea what nerds are capable of when pushed. Saw a jock in HS get his clock cleaned by nerd in a fight one day.Jock could barely get through HS....the nerd was near the top of the class. After the fight, the two guys became friends....got the jock through hs and helped him get into college.

Not seeing this in the homosexual community....never have particularly in the male homosexual community. Overall, they have been high earners/achievers. Maybe you see it more in the lesbian community?
