The media freakout is amazing
And note, it's not because of the joke.
It's because the media is watching the men's team just go about their business despite the media's rage. The media knows it's lost much of its power to punish normal people for normal things, and they're collectively melting down about it.
They have no idea what to do when nobody cares about their lecturing.

There's just no way a normal male who doesn't have a disorder of some type heard that Trump "joke" (it was more like a common filler comment from Trump) and thought it was some major breach of decorum, unacceptable, etc.
