The Guardian Program is needed in Schools

In the small south Texas town I live in we instituted the guardian program. It was completely voluntary and any of the teachers or staff could volunteer. Basically, they are given 600 dollars to purchase a CCW and an additional 1000 dollars for ammo, range time, and a conceal carry class conducted by a professional. They have to pass the conceal carry class and put in a certain amount of range time monthly and a refresher training annually. No one outside of the school nor the kids attending know who the volunteers are. We also have an on campus dedicated police officer at the elementary, middle school, junior high, and high school. I have no problem with my property taxes paying for these officers and these programs.
We also have put up multiple large signs at the four corners of all four schools that indicate faculty and staff are armed. We took down the gun free zone signs.

Sounds like someone figured out what a target rich environment looks like then decided to make sure they no longer fit that description.
Good for them!

All signs of a healthy society

It's not only feasible, but it can be done.
Why didn't Xiden send some of the $100B earmarked for Ukraine to protect our children from trans killers?

Years ago, the local police chief and sheriff wanted to deputize every male employee in our area.

It's a sign of a proactive measure to deal with an unhealthy society.
The alternative is perpetually doing nothing to make it far less likely for these things to happen while activists attempt to remove the 2nd Amendment (which is not going to happen.)
We're doing nothing because activists refuse to do anything but the impossible...because it's not REALLY about protecting kids for them. It's about getting rids of guns. If it was about protecting kids, we'd be attempting all sorts of things all over the country in an attempt to crowd source the best possible solutions to a perpetual (though wildly overblown stats wise) problem.

For the money we've given Ukraine - we could have 3 armed guards at every school in the USA.
