Great publicity stunt on their part, they are relevant again for a couple of hours.

quote:Never said that at all. I'm not against them. I just put them in the same group as the CEO's and other wealthy individuals that many on the left despise. These people aren't much different than the Mitt Romneys of the world. I bet a few of them even have car elevators and horses.
lol at the board being somehow against people with money.
They are all much wealthier than the common man. They are the class of society that is able to buy the perks we "normals" can't.
Just an observation.

I just hate that a hollywood person's wealth is fine, but a businessman's wealth isn't, according to tiga in the atl and other liberals.

Who the frick watches the Grammys?
People who want to see NIN, Dave Grohl, Lindsay Buckingham, and QOTSA perform together.
Unfortunately, it wasn't a very good performance, and CBS cut it short.

Really?
Why would you expect any difference from a bunch of worldly pervered drug users?

There were some other decent performances, but I do wish I could have the time back. I'm usually asleep by 11:00.
That being said, if NIN is performing live on TV, I will always watch.

I just felt that that comment was appropriate considering your name.

The fact that Scientology was able to rise, thrive an continue to grow in Hollywood is all anyone needs to know about how to treat the opinions of "famous" people
Just like their random third-world humanitarian efforts (We Are The Wooorrllld), HIV/AIDS, etc. from the past few decades, Gay rights is their "new thing" to make themselves feel good about themselves.
The worst part is the line is getting more and more blurred between "celebrity" and "politician", and for some reason our society keeps lapping it up. It's disgusting.
They aren't really "for" the common man, the poor, or anything else, they are "for" patting themselves on the back and marketing themselves as much as possible.

You people realize this is the Grammys and not Hollywood and The Oscars. Performing with Maclemore was a black trombonist from New Orleans.
I know it's easy for you to compartmentalize and say oh those Hollywood liberals... And to minimize causes such as AIDS and gay rights because you're a bigoted fool and project your own insecurities and hate on others to make you feel better about yourself because deep down, there's a sliver of morality and kindness in you which brings out guilt so you must crush it.

I'm just sick of the fake, forced bullshite.
I am completely on the side of gay marriage cause. I have many gay friends and I want them to get married and live happy lives with whatever partner they pick.
None of what was on the Grammy's was genuine. It was meant to be a marketing stunt, rally the idiots on both sides and be controversial to get people talking.
It gets all the bleeding hearts up and cheering and probably crying, it gets the ignorant bigots up angry and yelling at the TV, and it gets the majority of Americans who are in middle going

Wow! You mean a television show did something to increase ratings? Next thing you'll tell me is Megyn Kelly created the whole black Santa Clause bullshite to get ratings.
