New term I just came across. We all know about 'The glass ceiling'. Women can see those jobs up there. But they are not allowed to get them because of the patriarchy.
The glass cellar is those jobs that are difficult and deadly. The women can see them but want no part of it.
Why don't the feminists demand equality into the glass cellar?

Women can vote to elect those who would put us in wars which casualties are largely dominated by men. Either they should not be allowed to vote or they should have to participate in the combat.That’s equity for you.

The amazing stat was that about 100 people are killed every day in the U.S. from workplace fatalities. They mentioned the jobs you posted plus drivers of 18 wheeler trucks.

Air Force ad was nothing but females. Guess all straight males should resign immediately and turn the military completely over to females, gays and transgenders. Somehow that equality would be racist and homophobic too,

No it’s not men keeping women from oil rigs , garbage collection, logging etc . Those are very strenuous jobs that even a lot of men cannot even do due to their size and strength. So I would suggest it’s by simple nature of duties that keeps them from equal level of employment . That said there is representations of the women in those fields that I wouldn’t dare speak rudely to for fear of getting my arse handed to me

As there are plenty of trucks that are operating now with driver those tend to be roll offs and containers . Individuals tend to be done by those who ride on back if those disgusting hydraulic garbage trucks
