The Equity Mess
Despite their professed goals, Democrats' pandemic policies have widened disparities between races, classes, and genders.
"The push to reopen schools is rooted in sexism, racism, and misogyny," the Chicago Teachers Union charged in December. "The culture of white supremacy and white privilege can be seen…in regards to the decision to reopen schools," wrote 140 members of the Pasco (Washington) Association of Educators in January. "The process the District has undergone, as well as the plans they have put forth for reopening, are rooted in white supremacy norms, values, and culture," asserted a subset of the Cambridge (Massachusetts) Education Association in January. "All the rich white parents suddenly concerned about mental health can take a seat," tweeted the secretary of the Oakland (California) Education Association in February.
Many of these claims can sound disorientingly pyrotechnic to those who haven't kept current with the prevailing culture of big-city educational institutions. But such jargon is increasingly commonplace. Those "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion" workshops that have suddenly become ubiquitous in corporate H.R. departments got their start on college campuses a decade ago and in K-12 not long after. Throughout the public education system there are Black Lives Matter curricula for students, "implicit bias" seminars to help white employees get in touch with their unconscious privilege perpetuation, and the relentless invocation of a word that some Americans might have thought had been retired decades ago: desegregation.

Equity = a word dems are purposefully misusing to manipulate the emotions of lower intelligent human beings.

Dems and media have slowly and subtly replaced equality with equity, and the average person doesn't notice the difference. It's scary because the words have completely different meanings.

These idiots think everyone should have equal outcomes, regardless of ability, effort or character. That can never be achieved.
This is America. You compete to succeed. But everyone who follows the rules, works hard, and keeps at it will achieve some level of success.
You sit around, drink to excess, get drugged out, break laws, drop out of school and expect the same outcome?

Mainly due to the nature of our business, our company's leadership demographics are predominantly white male. We cant have that, so a program was launched to help these white males understand D&I better and be able to change the culture from within. Sounds like a noble effort. Then COVID came, and the program was iced for about a year.
Now, its back on, except the world has changed. Now, the white males being asked to drive D&I within the company are openly mocked and marginalized by a large subset of leftist POCs. Its now socially acceptable to discriminate against white males and there are no repercussions for being openly racist and sexist against them. White males are expected to confess their "inherent racism" and acknowledge that they are seething racists regardless of their true feelings and beliefs.
Corporate America had seemingly found a way to integrate D&I in a sane and respectful way. Many of the principles were based on research, the profit motive, and a better work experience for all.
Now, in my opinion, leftists have made this impossible. The loudest subset of the American left is in full "kill whitey" mode, and Dem leadership has no interest in reigning this in.
Equity=lowering the bar for the lowest common denominator.

Reminds me of Neal Bortz when he would talk about this little girl who thinks that everybody in the world should have the same amount of stuff, then nobody would want to steal from anyone or make fun of them. Simple solutions, right?

"Equity" is the natural progression in the Critical Theory philosophy, which is just re-packaged Marxism wherein Capital has been traded for identity politics (often race) as the delineating factor between the proletariat (victims) and bourgeoisie (oppressors).
