Your move Adam Silver

The NBA doesn't have a sustainable audience in N America any longer. They've become beholden to China for survival.

THE EPL bent the knee to BLM, but I seriously doubt they understand what BLM actually stands for. Im sure they thought its just an end racism thing.

Which they have an problem with with overtly racist things done in stands, etc in european countries

I know Boris Johnson is pissed as hell at China

And BTW Lebron James is a minority owner in an EPL team, He wont be happy about this

The EPL got stiffed on payments for the licensing fee, that is why the canceled the agreement. This isn't some shot across the bow at China they weren't getting paid.

rights holders Suning Holdings have withheld a payment of £160million that was due in March, with the Premier League retaliating by rejecting their offer for a three-year extension to the contract to cover the 2022-25 seasons.
As prior post alludes to, this has nothing to do with politics. The Chinese rights holders owe them nearly $200m from March. That's the most lucrative TV contract outside of the UK, means millions to the individual clubs.

This is just the PL saying frick off to that partner, hardly China.
