The smell of your moms vagina sets a bad precedent.

Then stop following Obama’s crooked path and return our country to the separation of powers on which we were founded

Then why don’t we just cut this off at the head and install Trump as a dictator able to rule by fiat until he retires? I mean if it’s for the good of the country then we should ignore any constitutional concerns, right?

Me: The emergency declaration to build a wall sets a bad precedent.
You: What about what Obama did?
Me: Do you like Obama?
You: No.

You seem to be in EVERY one of these threads.
Why are you so worked up about the declaration?

What do you people not understand? Trump not using the powers Obama gifted him in no way ends the abuse of presidential powers. He'd be negligent not to. But the House is welcome to present legislation to limit presidential powers and neuter the NEA. Will they? NO. Cause they want to abuse the shite out of it when they get the Presidency again despite anything Trump does or doesn't do. BUT...If Trump goes balls deep on them again and again with it, they'll beg for it to end. Presto!!!! Trump gets what he wants and we need, legislation to limit the Presidential powers enacted into law. We're protected from future abuses. Unless a LAW is changed. Which isn't impossible, just much more difficult.

But also because my biggest concern with Trump was him pushing constitutional boundaries. I don’t care if he got the wall through the normal legislative process. It’s trying to circumvent the normal process that has me concerned.

It’s for the good of the country, Jbird. It’s either Trump or socialism so we’ve gotta have all hands on deck

most people don’t want checks and balances
They want to pick their own dictator.
I dont Think you can say “well this is practical” and “this isn’t what the founding fathers indented”

Me: The emergency declaration to build a wall sets a bad precedent. You: What about what Obama did? Me: Do you like Obama? You: No.
Me: So, I'm good with Trump giving them a taste of their
own medicine and bringing it into the spotlight.
You: Hypocrite.
Me: No. I'm a realist. They thought they'd never lose.
They did. Now you take that stick Obama crammed up
our arse, and return the favor but deeper and with a
twisting motion.
You:
Me: Then THEY get the message, realize the err of their
ways and bring legislation to limit presidential
powers and neuter or better define what is allowed
by the NEA. Senate approves. President signs.
Problem solved.
You: But that's not the right way you hypocrite. Have
you no principles?
Me: Yes, I do have principles. But I'm not fricking
retarded to think the Dem's will be nice in the
future if we're nice now. History has proven that
time and time again. They are all about winning at
all cost.
You: :some bullshite yada yada:
Me: My way brings the subject into the spotlight,
teaches the left a lesson about how your own
bullshite can be used against you so tread care-
fully in the future AND leads to BIPARTISAN
actions to limit future abuses/misuses of the
powers of the executive branch. Everybody wins.
Me: Figure it out yet?

You are wrong! It is not overreach to protect the country. That is exactly what he swore an oath to do!!!

Doing what? Declaring national emergencies?
It’s the substance of the declaration, not the declaration itself.
Just like you didn’t like the ACA when it was passed. Tons of laws had been passed before it, but it wasn’t the fact that it was a law that you disliked; you disliked the substance of it. Same thing here.
