Those sonofabitches know how to rally their overly emotional, mentally unstable, SSRI -taking, female voting base.

Y’all can forget flipping the house & senate.

Between irrational women, illegals, plantation blacks, and fuq’d up zoomers, the midterms are hopeless for lazy-assed republicans.

At least we’re about to get rid of Cheney’s sorry arse.

And to think some people have the notion that the GOP has an anti-women streak.

Are you talking about Kansas?

States deciding for themselves on abortion?

Dems didn't rally.

Kansas is red.

Repubs in Kansas they decided they want abortion.

You pissed, bro?

So people that were going to vote Dem anyway but now are just going to be more vocal about telling people they are. A particular voting bloc getting loud equals not a net gain in votes.

Alright the liberal female who sees bartending as a career, feels taking a trip to the local metro area for a pride month celebration makes her cultured, and thinks just because she has to take a 2 hour class once a year to certify that she can tell when not to serve someone because they’re too drunk makes them an expert on mental health and substance abuse and thinks the fact that she has to factor tips into her taxes every year is grounds to make her an authority on monetary policy is going to vote for the party who tells her it’s cool to be a slut. So what?

The Dems aren't targeting the base. They are trying to target the wives of country club and moderate Republicans who might be willing to switch over because of this particular vote.

Those were/are their usually ace in the hole, slam dunk, if they don’t get a single other vote from any other segment they’re at least guaranteed to get this motley crew of schmucks voters. They’ve had to actually make up serious ground with those damn people.

So as is always the case, the swinging dicks in the middle are the ones that must be won over. Notwithstanding the bizarre division within the right of course, the middlists will determine the deal. If folks on the right don’t pull their heads out their asses on that sitchwation then we start out in a deep, deep hole.

What they want is to protect healthcare for the tiny percentage of pregnancies that tragically have to be terminated.

Pro-life legislators have to explicitly differentiate between elective and emergency terminations.

this

ESPECIALLY the ones who fought in the 1970s for such womens' rights and probably are shocked that they see them being rolled back

We don't usually take into account women between ages 60-80, but there were probably more of them than any other demographic. The oldest boomers are 75 or so now

For every insane AWFL that got fired up by Roe but was already going to vote anyway, they’ve probably lost at least one Catholic family oriented Hispanic who is tired of the radical left

Re: the left courting country club broads

Assuming they’re dumb as hell. I guess there’s no stopping folks from assuming that segment in general doesn’t have sense and intelligence enough to notice how useless the Dems are and how much worse they’ve made it in this case particularly for that segment, and how much they blatantly lie to us with zero respect for the average Joe’s and Tits McGee’s ability to recognize it.

I’m going a different direction with it and say there are more of those suburban ones you described who see through it and are actually offended than there are the ones easily baited on over. It would dawn on the more intelligent ones sooner or later that “wait a second, RvW’s already overturns and I saw or heard the other day that it’s the states that now set their own laws either direction, so Federal politicians won’t even be having anything to do with that now. They lied to us again darn it!!”

R v W has been overturned for just over a month, and you thought everyone against that was just gonna go quietly into the night and just accept that we have 50 states with 50 viewpoints on the issue????

it might be 50 states with 50 viewpoints, but places where their rights are secure are going to try to influence such elections in states where they aren't. Let's say hypothetically that Louisiana was the only state trying to abridge abortion rights. You don't think voters in KS, TX, CA, MA, etc would notice that?

Valid points, even if I do disagree with them. Maybe not all of them though. No everyone’s not just gonna go away quietly, but I think some will. Maybe even many. I think there are what could he referred to as “against it in name only”. By that I mean perhaps even most people would casually say they’re generally for a woman’s right to choose, but won’t and probably couldn’t get all woke about it if they tried. Sure, immediately after the publication of decision they might have gotten mouthy about it a couple few times probably either when they’re drunk or trying to impress some chick with the enlighted city slicker noble position of woman’s right. Flip that to a chick, again vocal in her opposition…….again, typically drunk, but trying to impress other chick rivals how enlightened they are.

Yeah that’s silly, but in reality I think most people either “against” or for chick’s right to choose as you referenced, yes potentially even just one month they will be over it. Still officially for rights, but really no serious affect on their voting because they’re just normal people whose paychecks probably go a little more than half the distance the same paycheck did pre-Biden.

Of course then there are the purple heads, skyscrapers, autists and nincompoops who yes are still rabid about it, even violent, and will be same until they’re ordered otherwise, by the voices. That’s a good bit of rambling. I hope it’s coherent. I ain’t even checking it, let it ride.

This is good but many states in the mid west and east coast have less than 10% Hispanic populations. Some less than 5%.

Abortion has always been a loser for the Republican Party. In 2022 it’s about issue #200 that we should be worrying about. There are much more pressing matters that impact your life than random people (most of which are uneducated and already on every single social program or welfare) having abortions.
