You folks seem to believe that "reasonable belief" has somehow already been conclusively established. It has not.

Here's a hypothetical. If I were in the officer's shoes. My choice is go home to my family alive or question her motives for hitting the gas 10/10 times three shots to her worthless arse will occur.

My assumption would be that the anti-ICE prog nut jobs want the ICE agents dead and would happily facilitate that outcome and then dance on their grave. My actions would reflect this assumption.

So you're going to examine his thoughts, now? How does this happen?
Exactly the same way that it happens in every one of the thousands of cases per year in which a court addresses the "reasonable belief" of any litigant.

I know, it's insane.

That's retarded. It would be unreasonable to find that, in the situation as it played out for all to see, the officer could not have believed he was at risk for serious bodily injury.

Hypothetically, if he hadn't posted here, would he still be a member? I propose not.

People hold sincere (but unreasonable) beliefs all the time, my porcine friend.

Yet half the country disagrees with your analysis.

No they don't

They're reaching just like you are here. The only reason they "believe" he wouldn't have a reasonable fear is purely politics.

Oh, and oh course it passes the common sense thing too.

Just one of the reasons the usual suspects either can't or won't acknowledge the obvious truth here. Along with some other maladies they don't have any common sense.

Well you should keep inquiring about it.

I would ask if her lack of eyebrows enraged the agent to the point that he just couldn't take it, and shot her. Or maybe he's a cat person and hates dogs.

These questions far outweigh the crime of her attempting to commit vehicular homicide.
