I think you are dead wrong on this. And here is why. The average Trump supporter out there in America hears the media talking about crowd size, and immediately wonders why it matters, and why the media is so incessantly nit-picking Donald Trump about yet another thing that doesn't matter. Why is he being singled out for media insult? Why doesn't he get the media Obama treatment and the shivers down the leg and the earth's temperature receding and the oceans healing? It violates their sense of fair play, especially when measured against the COMPLETE melt down of Democrats all weekend long.

Americans know Trump has thin skin. They also see him as their thin-skinned UNDERDOG(America loves an underdog), defending himself against UNPRECEDENTED criticism. From the kind of "nasty" people who burn flags, light limousines on fire, scream at people on airplanes, and talk about killing Trump at rallies.

Actually, its the other way around.

Trump has shown that he likes to flood news cycles with bullshite and trivial issues like this so he can do what he really wants quietly and under the radar.

And the media is just falling for it again just like millions of other times during the campaign.

That was a real low point. I'm holding out hope that was some middle person's idea and Trump will fire Spicer like this week.

This was all Trump. He is convinced that everything he does is the best, everything he builds is the biggest, etc.
He's been overreacting to criticism for as long as he has been in the public eye.

This is what George Will and Mitt Romney and Graham and McCain didn't want any part of.

They didn't want any part of it so bad that Mitt never sat down for dinner with Trump for a cabinet spot.

And in what way has McCain and Graham contributed anything to this country?

The media just looks stupid arguing about crowd size. In the end the media will be the ones blamed for talking about shite that doesn't matter. They just don't get it.

Also Team Trump talked about it so they did it for a reason. The idea that Trump is thin skinned and totally reactionary just shows the stupidity oft he left.

He counteracts their stupid stories to prevent certain narratives from truly sinking in.

A low point. I think you told me it was Trump's people who reached out when I mentioned it wasn't worth it for him to make an arse of himself.

That's cute. What have you done? Let me guess. You pay federal taxes.

Except if Trump never responds, no one is still talking about the crowd

No instead they would still be promoting that he is anti-women (which he obviously is not). In the end no one will care about the crowd issue because it doesn't matter.

Again...no one cares about the crowd size. They care about the response.

That is why people are still talking about it.

I did and you know how Mitt Romney is a better man than you are?

He was willing to go through that ritual and being seen with Trump to serve this country and make sure Trump doesn't go completely off the rails in foreign policy and help avoid dangerous international conflicts. Trump almost gave him the job until a plain better option in Tillerson showed up recommended by Bush admin officials.

Any man willing to debase and sacrifice himself to serve this country is a patriot.

Mitt Romney is a better man than I. But I'm not going to take a lecture on patriotism from a boy who doesn't realize that debasement is never a requirement of service. Debasement and sacrifice are not synonyms.

Don't make a fool of yourself by ever saying that in public.

It's amazing how you people still haven't learned how Trump operates. He wants this inflammatory shite in the news cycle so he can do whatever he wants quietly and under the radar and to be able to discredit the media.

This was his MO during the campaign and transition and it worked so well.

Y'all are real life Charlie Browns.

They are learning to fight back at Trump's game. Getting him distracted on what is literally a complete non-issue. This debate will carry into Monday, and I assume they hope it will distract him long enough that they can hammer him on not doing all of his day one promises.

So it's the media who distracted Trump......You know Trump is the one who brought it up at the CIA hq then had spicer come out and read the statement, right?

I'm quite aware of how he operates.

I just find it to be sad.

Mitt was sacrificing his pride and statesman like appearance to serve this country and help guide the complete novice that was elected president. That's patriotism.

You are so damn salty.
