“AOC wants you!
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other Democrats backing the Green New Deal are seeking to create a 1.5 million-strong group of Americans to join a “Civilian Climate Corps” to work on federal projects to battle climate change, Fox News reported on Wednesday.”
Pay starts at $15/hour and includes full health benefits. I’m sure mandatory union membership would be required, too.

Hmmm, the CCC. They need to put "Program" on the end of that.

How do I apply?
You need a state issued government ID card, birth certificate, NAACP photo ID, and biological proof of conversion - or a note from your psychologist.
Alternatively, you can just show up with an IQ below 50.

But her President said that even if we do everything perfectly it won't make any difference.

Will there be cool uniforms and stuff?

What is this commie fascination with $15/hour? You might afford a nice cardboard box and a knife in the gut for that kind of money in NYC.

Do you want to battle real environmental concerns? Try this one.
In 2008 the city of Memphis built Douglas high school in one of the most impoverished areas of the city in North Memphis. For those that don't know, that's the worst part of Memphis. Other areas are bad but that's the worst of the worst.
Well the HS is built right behind a chemical plant where they produce plant-based glycol to replace the oil in plastics and other chemicals. The school was demolished in 2006 and rebuilt on the same site despite the plant being there. While the product is for the betterment of the environment, but the process can cause inflammation, increases in asthma ect. The easy solution was don't rebuild a damn school behind it. However, because the city doesn't want to invest in impoverished and high crime areas(who can blame them) they paint it as "Industrial racism."
In reality, if they would do their part by working with officers trying to protect their community(aka ditch the "No Snitching") They would do wonders in improving the overall property value and the city would have businesses ready to invest in property deals/real estate.
Corruption and political kickbacks? Sure. Racism? Absolutely not.
Environmental Trauma is how I would coin it.

They got people who quit work to get paid, they really think they're going to get people to come back and actually work and get paid?
