Don't know what's up with the OP, don't care really. But as for the wearing of masks, growing up in the South, I get it. Pollen is a thing, though it doesn't affect me. And some folks, not acclimated to it may wear masks in the spring or fall, but that's pretty rare. Then there's the elderly and 'health compromised.' The latter, a crap term that gets far too much attention these days.

I know it's best to live & let live. Do your thing. But as time goes by and I keep seeing masks being worn outside, in the bright sunny days of summer, I only get more and more agitated.

The moment any one of these hypocondriacs or C19 nuts starts in on why I'm not wearing a mask, or if I wouldn't mind.. FU. I'm gonna snap, and it won't be pretty.

I still see people wearing masks. It is mostly black people for some reason I haven't figured out yet. See them in the grocery store or other public places and even will still see the occasional psycho driving in a car alone wearing a mask.

Except for wearing a mask very rarely, I don't think it affected my life much at all. I went to the same places, did the same things. Except sitting inside at restaurants I guess. And screwed up football season.

Wife and I were in Tallahassee yesterday and pass by a French Pastry shop. Decide to go in and behind the display counters, every employee had N95 masks on, gloves on, and they had the plexiglass shields still up. Couldn’t understand a word they were saying. Told my wife I didn’t want to give these people any of my money, but we bought some sandwiches and desserts. It made me irrationally angry that these people were living in the Covid past.
