They didn't want to do that. That would have slowed down the flow of cheap labor across the border, and caused wages to increase faster here in The U.S..

Those cost increases will be passed along to the consumer. Will be interesting to see how this will effect Christmas gift buying.

Just paid $22,500 for the container. Tariffs were $7,000
I don’t love paying the tariffs, but the ocean freight is past impossible.
All because the Dems keep giving incentives to not come back to work for truckers. Long Beach only a few weeks ago started operating beyond 8-5 shifts Monday to Friday. Media only started reporting all this shite this week when it became impossible to cover up anymore.
