As a white man with a pretty damned good resume who was laid off about 2.5 years ago, I applied to several hundred jobs in the span of about 6 months and could barely get a call back. Almost every job I applied to, one of the first inquiries in the application process was race and gender of applicant. I'm sure my answers to those questions immediately took me out of contention for most jobs I applied to. I'm sure any applicants that declined to answer those questions were just as immediately disqualified. I was in California at the time. I ultimately had to apply to jobs out of state and wound up moving to Wisconsin for work.
It's been brutal out there the last few years or so. Hilarious thing, watch any commercials for Indeed and LinkedIn that they've shown on TV the last few years... All the commercials are black females or some sort of minority landing their dream job.

frick all that white privilege and reparations shite. They get preferential treatment in government hiring and in a lot of private jobs too. As far as reparations go there were untold lives lost and changed, not to mention money spent during the Civil War over them.

As I said when I worked with them Mobile Al Ocean Springs Ms Leroy Al Robertsdale Al facilities here were all Teamsters and we would not have put up with that BS.
They also had Teamsters plants in West Virginia that were much more traditional union than we were and I guarantee you they would have run whoever was preaching that out of the state.
