Covid-19 does not spread through surfaces, contradicting a previous guidance stating that surfaces should be wiped down and cleaned to avoid transmission. These people are idiots. I can’t imagine being one of the people waiting hand and foot on their instructions from the news and the CDC.

Next thing we’re going to find out is that the masks are absolutely worthless. It seems like the media knows this already.

They don’t know shite and won’t know very much about the virus for about 2-3 years until studies can be done on it.

How did it spread so vastly (considering antibody testing) if it’s merely airborne or bodily fluids.

Serious question

If air is all it takes...and it's projected from a cough, it will spread...a cough sends particles 20+ feet, which is why social distancing is not really making a big difference...

But handshakes, hugs, touching overs will spread it just as well...

CDC almost as worthless as the national weather service.

Well since they seem to take both sides of every issue, they are right half of the time.

They started using this tactic when they were batting zero and it has worked.

They've had at least 3 different takes on Wu flu and surfaces: 3 days; 3 hours; 7-10 days.

And now, we get, "Oh wait. You meant active and contagious on surfaces??? Gee, well that doesn't happen. Next question!"

To be accurate they originally said “may spread” and are now saying “not likely”

The ultimate bet hedging but it’s likely impossible to have any definitive answers at this point

You know I once thought that the medical field especially in the U.S. had their shite together. But now I realize that the scientists and doctors are a bunch of idiots that do not conduct educated studies but just guess because they have no clue what they are doing.

why is that statement ridiculous? they have been lying about global warming for years.

they stage fake flooding by having reporters stand in a ditch to claim flooding and leaning against a slight breeze as if it were a horrendous wind; with to guys walking normal in the background.

they are the same as fakenews. lying just to get ratings.

what a ridiculous thing to make up!

Would be interesting to see if members of Congress and lobbyists sold stock in contact sanitation companies prior to the announcement. Feel bad for gym owners and small biz who have preordered tons of bulk wipes.

CDC messaging has been an abomination

My mom retired from Labcorp in Virginia this week after 32 years as a doctor. She pretty much told me word for word what you just said. Some of the shite she told me was mind blowing

Divide the number of cases by the population.

Now define "vastly".
