I also love how he ends this excusing himself because law enforcement also failed when it came to OJ. Up until 2 weeks ago, that was the biggest failure in law enforcement history, but that was 2 people vs 17. Congrats Scott Israel, you have more blood on your hands than OJ Simpson. Great fricking job.

The governor needs to relieve Israel and the entire sheriff department of duty, declare martial law, and bring in the National Guard until a thorough, competent investigation can be made.

I watched the entire interview and Jake Tapper was a complete a-hole. He kept interrupting the sheriff every time he was answering a question.
Overall, the sheriff did a good job explaining his position on how he acted before and after the shooting and why he wasn't going to resign.
By the time he was finished, he convinced me that he shouldn't resign.
