Cubs, do you know anyone who's had plastic surgery? Serious question.
Because IME, it's a bit like tattoos. Folks want to tell their mates all about it.

Boomers get touchy when you remind them that their generation is the one that's fricked the country the most, at least thus far.

How so? This is posted constantly on this board and all over social media, but outside of a lot of whining by economic illiterates, it's never really explained. You are very economically literate, so I'm curious as to how, in your view, boomers fricked the country over.

You were also the ones that got us in the shite for GenX+ needing to cleanup.

NO, your generation was the one that hollered,

"We need DEI and DIE-VUR-SUH-TAY!. We need participation trophies. Everybody should be equal. Tax the rich. We need gay rights. We need transgender rights. Nobody better spank my kid at school. Get rid of prayer and Bible in the schools."

They was Gen X that demanded all of that.

Boomers biggest frick up? Having you, Gen X.

Yep. Trump is one of the oldest of the boomer generation being born in 1946.

Trump is smart. Knows middle aged people have not only wisdom, experience and perspective, but also are more future oriented, can better relate with all generations, and have the energy to get shite done.

The gerontocracy has been hording resources and acting in its own best interests at the expense of younger generations for too long. Look up the economic concept of NIMBY if you want to know more.

-support strict zoning laws
-against new developments because of "traffic". They got in on basically the ground floor of properties but then want to put up regulatory fences around new people building homes
-many in careers don't retire making room for the next round of promotions
-earning more social security benefits than they paid in
-etc

I asked how Boomers fricked over the country and you came up with strict zoning laws?

quote:

-many in careers don't retire making room for the next round of promotions

Boomers fricked the country over by not retiring from jobs you want?

quote:

-earning more social security benefits than they paid in

So they won't leave the workforce on your terms and won't die quickly enough?

quote:

-etc

Meaning more zoning laws and not making your career path easier?

I've got to believe there are better "boomers are bad" arguments than these.

The video you linked is tantamount to Al Gore in 2001 convincing morons the world was going to end by 2020.

You have been duped if you believe generations younger than boomers don't have it better than boomers. And to be clear, boomers had it better than their parents and grandparents. It's how it works.

That’s a good one. If I can get even half of what I pay in with interest I will be thrilled.

Tulsi is technically Millenial/Gen Y. That is the falacy of that entire labeling system. She is like 15-20 yrs older than what people commonly think of as "Millenials".

She was graduating high school before the Millennium even turned. The common thought of a Millenials is someone who grew up in the 2000s, not the 80s.

Ok boomer. Dated thinking coming from a boomer. I personally have it better than your generation did, but my generation does not.

You insult and throw conclusions around without any facts nor specifics. Did you achieve success by bullying?
