a home made thermite device doesn't mean hadji.
They're not hard to make.

Bomb maker is advancing in skill, but ATF now has a non-detonated device and a non-detonated incendiary. They're gonna work their magic and get this frick stick really quickly now. The frequency of the explosions indicates that this sicko is getting more brazen- which leads to mistakes. This will end soon, but hopefully before anyone else is hurt.

Is the ATF better at this than they are at raiding compounds?

Honest question, I have no idea.

Hmmm I grew up around a shipyard and other than torches and welders there weren’t any incendiaries...

Some of y’all act like making explosive devices are in everyone’s back pocket. I am sorry but crap like this takes a special skill set the majority does not know

I thought the ATF said that the incendiary isn't connected to the bomber?
I am in my truck and don't have TV here,so I'm just reading the discussion here.

You never used an Oxygen/thermite lance? It's not an explosive device,it's a tool.
You can watch some videos on youtube showing them being used in different ways.
They're really pretty simple.

They are clowns.

I worked in a building once where ATF had offices. One of them shot himself while holstering a weapon.

You talking about a gouging rod? Wouldn’t exactly think that is something easily weaponized.. now primer cord and blasting caps etc like used offshore is another animal but that is all regulated material. I would think you could take 1000 random people and be hard pressed to design a working explosive device

The ATF will work with FIB explosives experts. They will know, literally overnight, what every single component to these devices is, as well as where they came from, likely the specific website or retailer. Hopefully the suspect paid with a card. If not, video footage will exist. The ATF labs are pretty damn good at what they do.

If we get a lack of info as to the materials used something more sinister may be in play.
