I would love to hear your understanding of these facts. And it was a consent order, by the way. Trump basically saying “fine. I don’t need to give more money to my foundation.” No finder of fact ever found wrongdoing. It was more lawfare. The actions he was accused of he could have admitted to and been fine, even though he didn’t. It was a clear codified exception to the self-dealing rules.
What is your understanding of the exceptions to self-dealing within private foundations?

So Trump is basically the president able to veto board decisions but can’t make unilateral decisions.
