I think they take back the House. When that happens, they will most certainly file articles of impeachment in an effort to influence the 2020 election.

Based on what grounds? I keep hearing people bringing this up, but you have to have legal standing to file articles of impeachment, no?

They don't need any grounds...they can do what they want.
Of course 2/3's of the Senate will never convict, so it'll all be for nothing.
Also, I actually think a few of the D's won't be stupid enough to vote for it in the House, so it may not make it out of there, since if they actually win control, it'll be a very slim margin.
