I put links and quotes, I'm sorry you are illiterate.
Do you need something simpler?

The lady continues to protest too much. Missing the point and then proving it is so incredibly on brand for you in this exchange.

China has zero influence over the canal.
None. Youre literally making shite up on the spot.
At least pretend like youve read what has been posted on here
Dont type something that shows your ignorance. Panama signed on to Chinas Belt and Road Initiative in 2017. Like I posted earlier. They now have announced they will not renew that agreement
quote:
Understanding China’s Belt and Road Initiative
China’s Belt and Road Initiative, also known as One Belt, One Road, is President Xi’s most ambitious foreign and economic initiative. It reflects a combination of economic and strategic drivers, not all of which can be easily reconciled.
quote:
The Chinese Government is keen to use the initiative to achieve important economic policy objectives, but some Chinese financiers and policymakers are cautious about funding risky Belt and Road projects outside of China
quote:
Many foreign policy analysts view this initiative largely through a geopolitical lens, seeing it as Beijing’s attempt to gain political leverage over its neighbours.
And we just saw how easily Trump tanked their investment in Panama. Stop talking about things you have not researched, nor have any background in

Can you read?
I dont think you can.
I'm the ONLY person in this thread who posted legit information, using sources.
And you still have to ask this question?

Less than 40% of all cargo ships use the two "Chinese" ports
So up to 39% use them? That’s still a very large number and extremely impactful. Do you think if it’s not at least 50% then it’s no big deal?

But you wouldnt know, because youre so fricking ignorant on the subjec

They had zero control over the canal.
Youre an idiot.
Can you google? If so, why the frick are you acting this ignorant? Everything I have posted is easily accessible, and everything you posted is easily proven to be bullshite.

Nothing that starts with “BlackRock now owns…” is ever a win

30% of traffic is non US. So yes, few US ships are utilizing these ports.
US ships traverse the port and arent utilizing Chinese ports.

You're super incredibly brilliant and knowledgeable about all things, bud. Having stipulated that, I challenge you to go 10 posts without trying to strongly imply you have superior intellect over the entirety of the PT.

This is your issue. You do Google and take the NYT and CBS news as fact.

Not a single one? You keep moving these goal posts with no figures to support. Let me guess, you’re going to send another NYTimes link? Or maybe it’s motherjones this time.

I've very average, and always claimed.
But the absolute stupidity you people have posted here is unreal. Yall prefer ignorance, and I'm content to have fun with it.
An average rube can tell you who controls the Panama Canal, but most MAGA types cant.

The sad part is you needed links to understand that China doesnt control the canal.
Thats fricking scary

Yet you have not provided a single link in this thread that wasn’t behind a NYTimes paywall. Are you incapable of seeing the problem here?

I would agree. As compared to the entire country, your intellect is average.

There you go again. Pretending your average intellect is superior to those above average.
