Whether or not it’s a healthy practice is relevant.

I vehemently disagree citing personal liberty. I'm a stickler for the constitution, what can I say?

The quote has been on the wall for five years, according to a Hispanic Houston ISD trustee.

The school's student body is 1 percent non-Hispanic white and Asian, combined.

The principal is a black female.

This is nothing more than the left imploding on itself and eating their own. Nothing to see here.

Not a single word of this is relevant to the quote being terrible.

Being cordial =/= respect.

I do understand the point you are making. We can agree to disagree. I think we are splitting hairs.

Regarding the open relationship thing, that is the VAST minority of the population. There is no way that those ideals should become normalized.

Don’t get me wrong, if you wish to partake, good for you. But there is no way it should be introduced to young kids.

You're arguing semantics now, but fair enough.

quote:

I wasn't suggesting it should. My point is that the quote gives reason to disrespect people. It should be inclusive, rather than exclusive.

People should respect people. End of story.

I suppose you're correct.

The problem is with it's location.

It’s kind of a weird place for that but I think it’s a different wording of “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

They were probably trying to get around 1st amendment issues so they made it ladies and gentlemen.

But mental midget libs can’t think outside of the box.

I disagree. You and the white liberal woman who tweeted this need to disengage from your whitesplaining.

Just another shot in the battle against traditional gender norms, cultural expectations and Christian values.

I know this is tongue in cheek, but it is truth. People that have to worry about daily survival like most of the world, don't have time for trivial things like this.
We are so rich as a country and have so much idle time that we have time to be outraged by minor things.

Letting people know that it’s a destructive practice and then allowing them to make their own choices doesn’t violate anyone’s personal liberty.

I'd say indoctrinating children and not allowing them to make their own decision is.

No, you earn respect. If respect cant be freely given and taken away, it carries no weight.

quote:

If being a slut ain't hurting anyone, why shouldn't I respect them?

Why should you give respect to someone with no self control? Seems you are confusing courtesy with respect.

Maybe they'll replace it with "Act like a whore, get an abortion, affirm your power!"

What a fricking bitch to whine about that.
