When “legal” is “whatever we say it is”, the legality of the opposition’s action shouldn’t really matter.

The subject of legality is decided by the victor. It won’t be the first time Texas has beaten off an oppressive regime.

Rebellion and treason are cornerstones of the American spirit. Don’t let the left and elites convince you otherwise.

There are absolutely reasons where an action, though treasonous by its definition, is the most patriotic thing one can do.

The United States and its corrupt politicians ignore legalities all the time. If Texas wants to secede, they can. If the U.S. wants to use military force in an attempt to stop them, they can. If Texas prevails, they’ll be on the right side of history like the U.S. circa 1776.

Didn’t take the time to read the entire thread, so sorry if already posted. But when I used to live in Texas I always heard that there was something illegal about the annexation of Texas. Like that the US wasn’t able to legally annex an existing nation.

It was a long time ago and all that, so maybe I just misheard.
