Terror Attack in Italy: arab man drives car into crowd -12 Injured

In the center of the Italian city of Modena, a car plowed into a group of pedestrians, after which the driver exited the vehicle and began stabbing passersby.
According to Italian media and the ANSA news agency, at least 12 people were injured, several of whom are in critical condition. The most severe injuries were sustained by a woman whose legs were crushed.
Reports indicate that the driver was a 30-year-old Italian citizen of North African descent. Several passersby managed to subdue the attacker before the police arrived.

Was it the arab who did it or the vehicle that did it?
Yall remember the vehicle attack on the xmas parade a few years ago? Still mindboggling how a racist attack of that magnitude was so quickly swept under the rug at the national level. The national coverage we did get mainly framed it as either an accident or "the red vehicle ran over people".
