The FEDs have owned the land since the three generations of the Bundy family started paying for the rights to use the land. The Family has never owned the land in question.

And this comment makes no sense. If you are trying to imply that I’m upset, I’m not in the least.
I'm simply refuting the argument some have made that the evil FEDs are stealing these peoples land. They are not. They are forcing them off land which already belonged to the FEDs because the family stopped paying for its use.

Honestly, I wish the Feds would put this much effort and resources into defending the southern border as they're doing with this ranch.

We have tons of bases overseas and we're also fighting useless proxy wars overseas and with that comes burning money and manpower that could be used to defend and protect the border. Which sounds like the better investment to you?

It still does not change the fact that the family in question in no way ever owned the land. They paid for grazing rights on federal land which they stopped paying.

What are you arguing here? I own quite a bit of land and I’m well aware of the repercussions of not paying property taxes.

Ya know police and other government will do anything(with our money) to act like they are needed. Cattle graze on Government land (open Range) all over this country. Is our government now trying to get into the cattle business? I to Hate Government.
