Ted Kennedy’s hysterics during the Robert Bork confirmation hearing

Lest anyone think all of this today is something new.

Not really when you consider their audience. Which is dwindling thanks to new avenues of information, which are trying to be quashed, scrubbed and sanitized.

But the genie is out of the bottle.

I think the science becoming more widely available, and the fact that babies are being born, and surviving, earlier and earlier all the time, is really hurting the abortion argument. Also makes the "party of science" claim fall flat.

Kennedy put that statement out immediately after Bork was nominated.

A few weeks later, in the run-up to his hearings, Bork paid Kennedy a courtesy call at Kennedy's office.

Kennedy was unable to look Bork in the eye in their meeting.

The so-called "lion of the Senate".

Yeah, the left went batshit about Reagan. They just didn't have as much of an outlet to vent.

Sensible Dems left the party during that period.

Extremely! It looks like the blacks are starting to wise up to their usual fear tactics though.
