Kind of like the soybean farmers demanding a bailout because they got fricked by tariffs doesn’t fit your narrative, stupid?
How do domestic farmers get fricked by import tariffs on foreign commodities? Are they importing and reselling commodities?

Even worse. Guess who took our market share in China? Our great friends in Argentina, right after we propped up their economy with a currency swap. They are now the no 1 supplier to China for soy beans

Or, in other words, $350 billion will be transferred from the private sector to the US Treasury.

Our prices have raised very little on imports, yet we are collecting, at the current rate 400 billion dollars.....where do you think that money was before?
Other countries and companies ripping you off for decades, yet you blame it on tariffs

Who is paying the tariffs?
Hint, It isn't the other countries.
Oh, and you won't be getting any checks back from what you already pay for tariffs.

If only I could remember the last time we bailed out soybean farmers and what caused it .. hmmmmm

Oh I remember
“Trade War Impact: China, a massive buyer of U.S. soybeans, imposed retaliatory tariffs, severely hurting American farmers.
Aid Packages: The Trump administration responded with large-scale aid, including roughly $12 billion in 2018, over $22 billion in 2019 (as part of a larger package), and another large sum in 2020 (which also included COVID-19 relief).

Sure doesnt sound like some pitiful, down on his luck farmer.....

The tariffs worked so well for the farmers that we had to give them $12 billion this week.
Why doesn’t the government go back to supplementing purchases of excess farm commodities and create a commodity reserve of wheat, corn, rice, and soybeans to help stabilize the price and create inventory for a national emergency or hand it out like government cheese back in the day.
That way instead of giving farmers a check for doing nothing they get paid a fair price if they have a crop to sell.

The only people on here who hate tariffs are those who hate Trump.
Most people I know hate taxes (tariffs). I’ll never understand Republicans cheering additional taxes. Now, if they used tariffs to eliminate income taxes…….. But, they didn’t do that. It’s double taxation. Congrats I guess?

All major pharmacy companies started building facilities in U.S. it's a win for Americans.
