Talked to my former conservative buddy yesterday

Who has somehow been "blue pilled" and asked him if he was happy about what was going on in the country right now. He works for the government, so I am assuming the constant "diversity seminars" and indoctrination have gotten to him. His answer was "no", but it was definitely not for the reasons you would expect. The main thing this dude is unhappy with is the "Maga cult" in the republican party. The country is literally falling apart at the seams, and the only thing this guy can think of is Donald Trump.
I dont see how we can ever come together as a country again when you have psychopaths like this making up the majority of the opposing party....

Smart stupid people are extremely dangerous because they have the degrees that make them think they’re smart but are to stupid to realize how stupid they really are. They think their education makes them smarter in everything than the actual people that succeed in those fields. The majority of gvt falls in to this category.

This happens to a lot of people whose first real job is in government. I had an intern who was fairly conservative who then went to work for “the company.” I caught up with him a couple of years ago and he was full blown TDS.
That’s how we end up with an FBI full of enemies of the citizens.

I ask him whats bad about trump. He says Jan 6. I say Trump offered national guard troops for patrol and was turned down. He says he knew he would be turned down and just did it to cover himself. I say Trump said to march peacefully. He says Trump knew what he was doing. He lit a match. I say he must really be worried about overthrowing the gov since he hasnt tried again and he just stays at Mar A Lago playing golf. He says Hitler went into seclusion too after the Beer Hall Putsch and then wrote Mein Kempf. Just because hes playing golf all the time doesnt mean he isnt dreaming of doing it again.
Literally every thing that he sees bad is some made up situation in his mind. The actual facts dont matter. Only his interpretation of them and how they make him feel. Trump is apparently some evil genius in his mind.

I don’t think your average person understands just how effed this country is. It’s because people like Joe Biden say that credit debt is down and people’s savings are increasing when the exact opposite is true. In fact, it’s the worst it’s been in 40 years
