If it truly is as bad as they say over there, the Biden administration has perpetrated the worst foreign policy disaster in our history. Saigon doesn't even come close.

What visa? Do you even know what a visa looks like? It was a 8.5×11 gimmick paper given mostly to U.S. citizens to keep them from panicking and to give them a false sense of hope. Given to you by your gimmick president Jbrack. Anyone thinking that was gonna be accepted at the airport is a dumbass. Just like that dude that was interviewed with ABC when he tried to show it to the troops despite being an American.
I don't think this is doing much for whatever argument you're trying to make.

Poor Joy is a case study of what is wrong with too many people watching this shitshow. She takes whatever info she is spoonfed as gospel and cannot fathom that her "reality" is a lie.

Report: Kabul Airport Gates Are Closed, Taliban Confiscating U.S. Passports
quote:
The Kabul airport gates are reportedly closed Saturday, as additional details indicate the Taliban is confiscating U.S. passports.
“All of the entrance gates to the airport were closed on Saturday morning because of the dangerous situation,” the New York Times reported, adding that the U.S. embassy in Kabul is advising evacuees not to travel to the airport in light of “security threats.”
“Because of potential security threats outside the gates at the Kabul airport,” the embassy alerted on its website, “we are advising U.S. citizens to avoid traveling to the airport and to avoid airport gates at this time unless you receive individual instructions from a U.S. government representative to do so.”
The active security threats come as the New York Post reported the Taliban is “now attempting to take their U.S. passports and identification orders in an attempt to stop them from leaving the country.”

Joy is the single dumbest member of the MSM. Yes, even dumber than Fredo.

Yeah, we’re well beyond Saigon. This much worse than 9/11 as well.

Embassy in Kabul sent out thousands of blank Visa documents
quote:
David Fox is an American trapped in Kabul who appeared on a video report with ABC to highlight the situation faced by thousands of Americans attempting to evacuate the region. While he was describing the dangerous situation around the Kabul airport, Mr. Fox also pointed out a very serious issue. ABC buried the lead….
According to his report, the U.S. State Department responded en masse to all the people trapped in Afghanistan reaching out for help.
The U.S. Embassy consular services department sent a document with instructions to assist Americans and eligible Afghans claiming Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) status. The document looks exactly like an approved VISA document except there is no filled in name, no serial number and no barcode.
As Mr. Fox notes, the document is easily able to be forged which makes the Kabul airport situation even worse, as it is likely the people who receive this response from the consular’s office will duplicate it and share it with friends or family who can then use it in an effort to get to the United States.
Mr. Fox attributes this massive problem to bureaucratic “brainworms“, or a mistake by professional bureaucrats within the State Department trying to help but actually making things worse. However, there is a possibility it’s not a mistake. Perhaps this was done purposefully.
As previously noted by Lara Logan, outlining a position I happen to agree with {GO DEEP}, the growing scale of the crisis in Afghanistan cannot simply be chalked up to mistakes, snafu’s, blunders and errors in judgement. At some level it must be accepted that these events are happening because they are intended to happen.

The brainwashing with some of these folks is so severe, reality isn't playing a part in their thinking.

More airport footage. Tents are going up and MREs are being handed out. This is on "our" side of the wall. Some folks are going to be there for quite a while.

How was 9/11 worse than this? In a week we’ve only gotten 2,500 Americans out of Afghanistan, and we’ve got until next Tuesday to get the remaining 15,000 out. The fact is the vast majority aren’t getting out. 9/11 killed 3,000 people, and the war it spawned is now lost thanks to this. Then we’ve got to think what this is going to do to our alliances. Not to mention China is now actively preparing invading Taiwan due to this, and that’s going to probably be even worse than this. This is much worse than 9/11, 9/11 was just quick and dramatic.

Come on, man. At this point this situation is nowhere close to being "Worse than 9/11". Does it have the potential to be, at least, comparable? Yes. Is it to that point, yet? No.
Your hysterics don't help anything in this thread.

Let this one sink in a bit:
Pakistan International Airlines has been the domestic airline running a large portion, if not a majority, of the evac flights. Under normal circumstances, that airline can't even fly to most of the countries reliant upon it right now.

I’m not sure this is worth responding to but the deaths of almost 3,000 people, the destruction to NYC/DC and the complete boon to the surveillance state shite all over this frick up by Biden. Any serious person understands that
We can say this is a frick up(and yeah there is potential for worse but it hasn’t happened yet) without comparing it to mass casualty terrorist attacks

Don't forget the first responders that have prematurely died from cancer. North of 2000. Or the other citizens that have had cancer and serious respiratory problems attributed to the collapse of the buildings.

I really don’t think I’m being hysterical here. Yes, 9/11 was an attack on US soil and killed 3,000 people. Did it harm our standing in the world? No, not really. And way more people are going to get killed in this than 9/11. Were any Americans sold into sex slavery thanks to 9/11? Did 9/11 greatly empower and embolden our enemies on the world stage? I’m just being a realist here.
