This was always going to be legally questionable and their remarks haven't helped. I've stuck to the ethics side because who the hell knows if it's technically "legal" or not. Nobody here does no matter how much chest thumping they do.
And the "binary" I'm talking about is Trump, not a particular law. I'm pretty binary when it comes to rape, for example. Binary when it comes to a political figure isn't healthy on either side.

I have no problem with following rules, my problem is people only care if Trump does.

That’s my entire point. Just follow the rules. The Bush, Obama and Biden argument is ridiculous. I’m just asking for a president to follow the damn rules.
As someone else said, these actions are just pretext for another CIA/Lindsey Graham regime change.
Moreover, whether legal or not, does anyone think it’s smart or prudent to allow one man to designate any individuals or organizations as terrorists?
When Newsom designates Christians as terrorists, I bet you guys will want Congressional action then.
I’m simply wanting law and order. I’m done with cult-like tribalism.

Same reason we aren’t just blowing up Colombia.
If he attacked Mexico and your wife’s Mexican chocolate went up in price you would cry about it.
We may have hit a few boats coming from Colombia but we did it in international waters. We aren’t going to park in their waters and hit their boats.
