Jesus you sound like a chode…

What that judge did grossly over stepped his boundaries. But I’m sure the Obama-appointed judge had no biases at all and certainly wasn’t legislating from the bench.

Well the appeals court agreed with him so I guess you know more than them too?

Those people at least want to work

Yeah this admin is full of cocksuckers.

People have been working nearly 40 days now with no pay and they are paying the disgusting welfare leaches instead of hard-working people.

There is no reason for the democrats to ever concede or negotiate on passing a CR as they are losing nothing.

Yes. Trump is a coward who can’t handle criticism and has ceded control of the budget to a single unelected judge in fricking Rhode Island. Amazingly the most unqualified justice on the Supreme Court has more guts than Trump since she put a hold on the ruling.

No.

The appellate court didn't stay the ruling pending the appeal.

SCOTUS did.

So Social Security disability huh. So basically bullshite that can be (and is) abused on the regular.

If you hang out at your local scrap metal place, you will see a lot of “disabled” people hauling in scrap for a few extra dollars to play with for the month. They drive past the park where several “disabled” people are playing basketball.

Well once a judge tells you to do it, it’s not really a choice.

Checks and balances. Not a kingdom.

Just as the founding fathers intended.

Actually, it is.

The judiciary is not the only branch tasked with acting within the Constitution (which, by definition, requires consideration of what is constitutional).

If a ruling is patently unconstitutional (e.g., a court ordering the President to spend discretionary funds a certain way; or ordering the cessation of all firearm sales within its district), no one is required to adhere to such an order.

President Trump Seeks Emergency Block on Judges Order to Pay Food Stamps in Full

quote:

Senate Democrats have rejected the continuing resolution 14 times. They also argued that the courts do not have the power to appropriate spending, and therefore have breached the separation of powers.

“This unprecedented injunction makes a mockery of the separation of powers,” the Trump administration's lawyers continued. “Courts hold neither the power to appropriate nor the power to spend. Courts are charged with enforcing the law, but the law is explicit that SNAP benefits are subject to available appropriations.”
