Syria About to Blow? US Strike kills Russian Fighters

A Russian a jet was shot down in Syria the day after Mattis threatened to strike Syria.

Syria is their Israel
There is still in unrest/war in Syria though, doesn’t mean we shot it down. Could have been our gear though

Whole area is a mess of conflicting alliances and rebel groups. There's no telling.

Exactly, all the more reason for the US to get away vs escalating our role. This was probably nothing more than an oddly timed sequence of events. The Russians are providing air support to the Syrians and the US is threatening to strike the Syrians. This seems like a no win situation that could spiral out of control.

It was an Islamist group. Not sure how they got MANPADs but Russia is launching cruise missiles into the Idlib area as retaliation.
