one would think this wouldve been a priority item.

Why? We were securing the global economy for everyone's benefit. The whole planet. Everyone just stood by and did nothing and watched. Half of them hoping the US would fail.

Well two weeks in they are forced to see that Iran is a death cult regime with the ability to destroy the worlds economy whenever they choose. This no plan as yall call it sure as hell did work in exposing who we can depend on and who we can't. It sure hurts there economy 10x worse that it hurts ours. A few weeks of pain at the gas pump is nothing compared to the points that it is driving home.

have you told the Iranians this? because that's going to be real painful for them in terms of funding...... well, pretty much anything that relates to their economy. I imagine the people who need to "rise up" and help with the uranium won't be too pleased when Iran cuts its own throat by closing the straight for months.

You still think people are trying to rise up? Oh boy.. you simpletons fell for the obvious cia/mossad propaganda

Have you guys heard of Mr Global?

Interesting dude, he's not short on arrogance about oil and gas

He's definately not a Trump guy

seems to be someone who likes to get something right and then tell the world "I told you so"

Claims he knew Iran would start bombing all their neighbors- plays clip of TRump saying he was suprised

then he plays clip of him forecasting it

Mr Global!!! He's full of himself for sure

We are paying $3.40 a gallon per gas which is far higher than under Biden.

Gas prices are definitely higher, but lets tap the brakes on this nonsense.

Gas is $3.50 here.

Under Biden it was at $5.15

Joint chiefs told him not to do it because of this exact scenario. Clearly didn't listen.

Iran is 2.7 times the size of Ukraine. Russia has been in all out war for four years. We have been in controlled strike mode for two weeks.

Iran has stocked missiles and drones for years. We have eliminated their Navy, Air Force and nuclear facilities. 7800 targets have been hit. We have not carpet bombed civilians or deliberately attacked civilians. We have shown restraint and still accomplished all this in two weeks.

Two weeks. Listening to people on here, we would have surrendered to Japan.

You answer my question I’ll answer yours.

How long do you think the Iranian regime will last with the straight of Hormuz closed? Will its closure be more detrimental to

Iran?
Israel?
US?

If you’re going to be all in on the side of Iran over OMB at least think your way through your “strategery”

There was a foolproof plan in place for securing the Strait of Hormuz. They are currently exercising it, and the Strait will be secure. I think your actual puzzlement is because you thought the plan would take less time and effort.

Also, Israel doesn't GAF about Hormuz. They don't need it.

And?????

The US doesn’t need the Strait either.

What's the evidence there was "no plan"?

1- he recently said he didn’t know that Iran would strike all these other countries (US bases)

2- relying on allies to help secure the Strait of Hormuz after several years of tariffing them and lambasting them, and their leaders, in public. I’m aware many will argue they deserved this, he’s right. Ok, fine. The point is that he didn’t plan to need them shortly thereafter and is not being met with open arms.

Could be correct. I suppose my post is a litte premature. I guess i was imagining that this challenge of the strait may go on for awhile.
I was also just contemplating the thought process that we’ve hit 7000+ targets with pinpoint accuracy, know where anyone of their high ranking personel are at any time and can take out a new leader as soon as he is named and therefore Israel might know where and what exactly needs to be taken out to keep the strait open from the beginning. As i think some of the replies missed when i said im not being critical just startin a conversation.

Yea this is great for the US

High oil and LNG prices benefit net exporters. The US is a net exporter. The benefits and costs are uneven, though, and unless you are a big shareholder in an oil & gas company this would probably be a big negative for YOU

I’m not on Iran’s side. I am on the US’ side and I am on our troops’ side and their families side.

You are on Israel’s side. You want our good men to die for a foreign power.

Try telling these kids that grow up without a father that he died over a war started for another country.
