Surprise! Biden lied about your taxes not changing if you earned less than 400,000

This was a lie. I earned less than 400k last year, but about what I earned the year before. My deductions were higher than last year, by a lot.
My tax debt doubled. I got more credit for buying an energy efficient appliance than I did my mortgage insurance and property taxes!
Has anyone else experienced the same?

Fact check: False.
Just because your tax debt doubled, doesn't mean that Biden increased your taxes.
Edit: Experts say that not wanting to pay your fair share of taxes is rooted in racism and white supremacy.

Inflation is a tax, too.
But your Independence Day cookout was 16 cents cheaper so it evens out.

No, but sometimes I attempt to post like one on TD.

In general I have seen it going up but I haven't seen anyone with the exact taxable income. I've seen it go both ways this tax season but most of the issues I have seen is there are a whole lot more people getting capital losses this year compared to last. If the share of your Long term and Short term capital gains have fluctuated with your net taxable income being the same, your tax due is definitely going to change a bit.

Destroy the middle class is the goal. Only poor and elite in a democrat society

You have a point. I was being selfish and not wanting to pay for the living expenses of someone in inner city Chicago or pay the pension of an elderly Ukrainian.

Simple way to check. Just calculate your 2022 tax return with the exact same numbers as your 2021 return.

I can't imagine what it would be like going through life willfully ignorant of the facts.
You know the things your federal income taxes pay for is public knowledge, right?
