This has been the most ignored and over looked part of his testimony.

- He states that his team explained that the polls showed Trump losing, so there was no need in risking sources by doing this aggressively.

- He in turn tells them they would aggressively go after it.

- and the major issue is he set himself up for this. So let's start with that:

quote:

“That text represented a debate on information that we had received from an extraordinarily sensitive source and method and that typically when something is that sensitive if you take action on it you put it at risk. And so there is a tension there. Maybe we should just roll slow. Take a typical 3, 4-year counterintelligence investigation because the more aggressive you are the more you put it at risk.

Now here he is again:

quote:

Some people said, hey, look. Every poll is saying candidate Trump is likely not to win. Every Republican was saying that. Some people said as a result of that let’s not risk the source. Let’s go slow. But I indicated for them. We need to aggressively investigate these actions, because you know what, if candidate Trump is elected, there might be people we need to be investigating that might be nominated for important security positions.

I just wonder who this "extraoridnarily sensitive" source was. Surely PapaD, a volunteer low level coffee boy would not be considered such. And Halper never did anything but harass Papa and Page (and get nothing).

So who is it? What if Roger Stone was FBI the whole time? Lawl

I can. He stated he did not allow his bias to interfere with his work.

Clearly his team and those around him was pointing out that Trump was not a threat to win, so "slow Roll" it to keep Sources and Methods SAFE...…. and that is the general way of doing things.

He told them no.

Then you simply don't grant them security clearance. /problem

But you absolutely don't attempt to subvert the entire American election process, as a reason for you not to have to run background checks one day on these mythical people.

That statement alone should be 'exhibit A' in showing his bias
