Democrat Sen. Mark Warner and Rep. Jim Himes say a U.S. briefing warned of a Russian AI misinformation campaign targeting Democrats in the midterms.
Two weeks out from Election Day.
Every time Democrats are losing, Russia shows up in the headlines.
We heard this in 2016. We heard it in 2020.
Americans are not buying it.

So... Russia interfering with US elections is bad.
But... Iran interfering with US elections is fine.

Theres zero evidence "Russia" changed even a single vote in 2016 yet the same people who swear they stole that election from Trump insist every single one of Bidens 81 million votes in 2020 were legitimate. And those folks want to throw anyone who disagrees with them in prison.

Overview of Russian Misinformation Campaign
Senator Mark Warner has highlighted that Russia is actively conducting a misinformation campaign targeting U.S. politicians, especially those who support Ukraine, as the midterm elections approach. This campaign utilizes artificial intelligence to enhance its effectiveness.
Objectives of the Campaign
Undermine Trust: The primary goal is to erode confidence in the integrity of U.S. elections.
Create Chaos: The campaign aims to generate a sense of disorder among voters, making them question the electoral process.
Targeted Politicians
The misinformation efforts are particularly focused on:
Politician Name Position/State
Jon Ossoff Senator, Georgia
James Talarico Senate Candidate, Texas
These individuals have been identified as specific targets of AI-generated disinformation ads.
Methods Used
Artificial Intelligence: AI tools are employed to create and disseminate misleading content rapidly.
Social Media: The campaign leverages social media platforms to spread false narratives and misinformation.
Historical Context
This current campaign mirrors previous Russian efforts observed in past U.S. elections, including those in 2016, 2020, and 2024. However, there is no evidence suggesting that Russia has attempted to interfere with voting machinery or alter ballots directly.
Senator Warner's insights underscore the ongoing threat posed by foreign misinformation campaigns, particularly as they evolve with technological advancements like AI.

That literally makes zero sense. If anything I would say the opposite is true. A Democrat majority at a federal level equals a weaker USA and that bodes well for Russia and China.

They are just setting the stage when they lose.

Did he ever state what information is wrong? I'm sure it can be looked into.

More misinformation out of DC than Moscow.
Covid, Iranian threat, Illegals, etc.
Is Russia or the Democrat Party the biggest threat to our Liberty?
I've not heard of a Russian threat to Minnesota, California, Seattle, Washington, or New York, City.

It has already came out that Russia does not have the skills and technology to hack shite. They are a paper tiger when it comes to technology - they are 20 years behind us when it comes to technology

It's never the truth which is very simple. Communism and Socialism aren't selling in a Nation built on Freedom.

Russia capitalized with aggression each of the last two Dem presidents against Ukraine. They don’t want conservatives in power
